Reviews only help if you can trust them. Here's how we handle them.
What we publish
- Genuine reviews from real customers, good and bad. We don't hide or bury negative reviews.
- Reviews about the specific mug reviewed. We don't merge reviews across products to boost ratings.
- Customer photos only with the customer's permission.
What we never do
- Write, buy or commission fake reviews, or ask friends or family to post them.
- Offer anything in return for a positive review.
Incentives
If we ever offer something (for example a discount code) for leaving a review, we'll offer it whether the review is good or bad, and we'll clearly label those reviews as incentivised.
What we remove
We remove reviews that are abusive, contain personal information, are about something other than our products, or that we reasonably believe are not genuine. We don't remove reviews just because they're negative.
